300 posts on arttrav

It seems like a milestone worth noting: This is post #300 on arttrav. I know that’s not much compared to many blogs out there, but for something that started as an experiment in html 6 years ago and that I kept up all through graduate school and my first jobs, I’m satisfied with that number.

Yeah. Did you notice that: six years ago? This blog started in October 2004 when I couldn’t find the ideal guidebook to Rome! You can read about the history of arttrav if you’re interested. And in case you also want to know who I am, you can read that too ;-) .

THANK YOU to my regular and occasional readers – according to google, you’re 9000+ viewers per month in 156 countries. The top countries reading arttrav are USA, Italy, India, Canada, and UK, and the top post of all time is about the Palazzo Davanzati. It’s thanks to YOU and your feedback that I keep blogging.

Congratulations on 6 years of blogging, Alexandra. In the blogosphere that was the Dark Ages. I am checking your Rome section again for our upcoming visit to Rome.
