New: Florence museum tickets official reservation site online

Firenze Musei, the group that includes the Uffizi, Pitti, and Accademia Museums, now has an official online reservation website. You can still make reservations by phone (the old way) at this number: (+39 (0)55 2654321).

Beware of ticket revendors who charge massive surcharges - only use the official ticket site, accessed at this link, or directly from their website www.firenzemusei.it.

Remember that arttrav has a page with ALL of florence’s museum and church opening hours, which can otherwise be found individually on their websites.

If a museum day is sold out, can you name a trusted reseller or two? I don’t mind paying a premium if I can be sure of admission (and not waiting in line!).
    Thanks.

    Dear Steve,
There is no trusted reseller for museum tickets, IMO – I don’t consider it
trustworthy if they charge a premium. If the online uffizi booking service
does not show ticket availability, there may well be more available by
phoning Firenze Musei, since not all the tickets are put online.
If you want to pay more, all the tour companies buy up blocks of tickets and
provide tours at set hours. For a short and efficient tour, try Accord
Solutions. Or for a more academic and long tour of the Uffizi, try Context
Travel. Both are perfectly safe to give your credit card.
    Enjoy your trip!
