Greve
The small town of Greve, located along the Chiantigiana, is well known for its fantastic "gallo nero" chianti wine. It is also the home of the "Bistecca alla fiorentina", which explains the prominence of butchers on the main square. In the area there are numerous agriturismi if you want to stay the night, though Greve makes for a lovely afternoon drive from Florence.
